Matt Mashburn and Chuck Waters Again Featured Speakers at RPLI
At the Real Property Law Institute at the Omni Amelia Island Resort from May 10-12, 2018, Aldridge Pite, LLP attorney T. Matthew “Matt” Mashburn presented “2017’s Cases Which Will be Known by One Name,” and Aldridge Pite, LLP attorney Charles B. “Chuck” Waters, Jr. addressed commercial practitioners in a presentation entitled “Do I Really Need an Engagement Letter?” The Real Property Law Section is the State Bar of Georgia’s largest section and the Real Property Law Institute is the Section’s annual conference relating to commercial and residential real estate matters. Mr. Mashburn and Mr. Waters are each former members of the Section’s Executive Committee.

At the Institute for Continuing Legal Education “Real Property Law Institute,” held in Destin, Florida from May 4-6, 2017, Aldridge Pite, LLP attorneys T. Matthew “Matt” Mashburn and Charles B. “Chuck” Waters, Jr. each presented to the attendees. Mashburn discussed 2016’s “Cases Everyone Will Know by One Name” and Waters presented an update on the Commercial Subcommittee of the Real Property Law Section and a status report on Formal Advisory Opinion 13-1 and its effect on commercial real estate practitioners.
