Aldridge Pite attorney Morgan Clemons will be presenting on Senate Bill 2155: The Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act—Where Are We Now? at the Georgia Bankers Association Compliance Conference on September 18, 2019. Topics covered include what the current direct and indirect effects are to Georgia institutions following the law’s passage, intended effects in the context of varying effective dates, and what effects are to be expected in the foreseeable future.

Senior Associate Morgan Clemons advises banks on regulatory compliance matters, including compliance with state and federal laws, supervisory examinations, and consumer complaints. Prior to representing financial institutions in private practice, Ms. Clemons worked as a financial institutions enforcement attorney for a state banking department.
