Senior Associate Morgan Clemons was awarded the Associate of the Year Award for “tireless commitment and enthusiastic service to the association for the daily passion to help the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia reach its full potential.”  Associate members of MBAG include non-lenders who provide services to and otherwise support the mortgage banking industry.  Aldridge Pite provides mortgage default services, regulatory compliance services, and real estate transaction services (including closings).  Morgan Clemons and Supervising Partner for Regulatory Compliance, Judy Newberry, have chaired the MBAG Compliance & Quality Control Committee for over four years and advise financial institutions, including mortgage companies, on issues that may arise during origination, servicing, or debt collection.  Prior to representing financial institutions in private practice, Ms. Clemons worked as a non-depository financial institutions enforcement attorney for a state banking department.  Ms. Clemons may be contacted at mclemons@aldridgepite.com.
